Jersey Swaps

Jersey Swaps *

Jersey Swaps are my way of visualizing the moments fans can’t stop talking about—trade rumors, draft projections, free agency buzz, and the “what if this actually happens?” conversations that completely take over the NFL world. The second a player’s name starts circulating, I’m already thinking about fit, storyline, and aesthetics. I jump in and imagine how they’d look in a new uniform, reworking team colors, typography, textures, and brand elements to make the move feel believable, intentional, and hype-ready.

It’s more than just pasting a logo onto a jersey. I study the team’s visual identity—helmet finishes, number styles, sleeve striping, lighting tones—and build the swap so it feels like an official reveal graphic rather than a quick mockup. I want fans to scroll past it and think, “Wait… this actually looks real.” That level of realism is what makes the concept hit harder.

These projects live at the intersection of sports culture and design: fast, reactive, and driven by real-time league buzz. Timing matters. The NFL moves quickly, and so do I—concepting, designing, and posting while conversations are still trending. It pushes me to trust my instincts, design efficiently, and execute at a high level under pressure.

At the same time, jersey swaps give me room to experiment—testing new lighting techniques, textures, layout styles, and presentation formats. Each one is a chance to refine my craft while tapping into the emotion behind the moment. Because at their core, these graphics aren’t just about uniforms—they’re about anticipation, speculation, and excitement. They turn rumors into visuals and “what ifs” into something fans can actually see, react to, and share.
