I landed this internship by cold-emailing the head of External Affairs at CWU Athletics, which somehow turned into one of the coolest opportunities I’ve had so far. I spent the season creating a constant stream of visuals for CWU Football—designing credentials, custom nameplates for players, pre- and post-game graphics, and social content that had to move fast. I was even editing photos at halftime to keep the feed alive while the game was still happening.

Beyond digital, I also worked on print pieces like posters and the large schedule graphic displayed outside the field, plus the version printed in the game-day programs fans picked up on their way in. It was equal parts chaotic and rewarding in the best way.

This is the kind of work I love—fast-paced, high-energy, and happening in real time. Getting to help shape the weekly story of Wildcat Football, game after game, pushed me to level up my design style and reminded me exactly why I want to do this for a living.
