Spare Room | Bowling Alley Brand Identity
Project type
Brand Identity
Date
June 2026
Location
Ellensburg, WA
Spare Room is a conceptual rebrand and revitalization project for a vacant bowling alley in Ellensburg, Washington. Designed collaboratively by Myself, Rob Gonzalez, Jordan Tobery, and Griffin Bailey, the project was created to address the city's limited entertainment options by reimagining the space as a modern social destination featuring bowling, an arcade, and a bar.
The brand was built around the idea of creating an escape from the college-centered atmosphere that dominates much of the town, offering a welcoming environment for students, locals, and visitors alike. Together, the team developed a complete visual identity system, environmental graphics, merchandise, packaging, signage, and digital experiences that work cohesively to position Spare Room as Ellensburg's premier destination for fun, connection, and community.
This project represents a collective effort, with all four designers contributing to the strategy, branding, and execution of the final concept.
